Vikas Charitable Trust (VCT) was established on 18th August 1994 (Registration Number E 819 Sangli) under the dynamic leadership of Shri. Sanjay Kirloskar Chairman & Managing Director, Kirloskar Brothers Limited with a dream to see a day when no child would be deprived of the rights as basic as good education and good health.

A happy, healthy and creative child is a powerful boon to a society’s future. To build a nation, one must consider education and health of our future generation. Vikas Charitable Trust aims all-round development of students personality and excellent educational standard based on the clean, attractive and Beautiful school foundation already laid. Our employees are voluntarily participating in all the social activities.

The Trust is registered under The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 and donations to the Trust are exempted under 80G clause of Income Tax Act 1961. Management of Kirloskar Brothers Limited is providing the trust with free infrastructure facilities and financial funds from time to time to run the Trust activities. Due to the good work done by the Trust in field of Education & Health, the Kirloskar Brothers Limited has been recipient of many state and national level awards in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility. Ms. Pratimatai Kirloskar is the Chairman of the trust and is supported by few senior executives as trustees.
